Pultrusion is a highly automated process for the manufacture of constant volume shaped profiles made of composite materials. The structural glass reinforcement is continuously pulled through a die, injected with resin, shaped, and then heat set before leaving the die.

The use of structural composites offers the ability to tailor the strength specifically for the application. The result is a high strength-to-weight ratio. The combination of prestressed longitudinal fibers and woven fibers for hoop strength form an unequaled high strength, low weight utility pole.
